We are currently offering for sale several rare pieces of high quality black jade from an estate. These are very collectable "wind slicks" that were surface-collected back in the 1950s when such pieces could still be gathered as "float" on the plains of Wyoming. This jade is considered by many to be the finest black nephrite to be found anywhere on the planet. Very little of this prime gem material has escaped the cutting wheel over the years..... making these wind and weather-sculpted works of nature rare indeed. Although we are hoarding some slabbed material from the same source for our own cutting stock, we feel it would be a shame to see these "slicks" wind up as 10x12 cabs. We hope that someone out there will grasp this opportunity to retain these unique beauties in their present natural state for their mineral collection.
These are flip sides of the same specimen.
